    Interested in Designing or Acting in the Fall Festival Haunted House?

    Do you like to paint, read, draw, work with 3D art mediums, and/or create videos? If so, then the Arts and Media Club is for you! Participate in creating the backdrops for our Fall Festival Haunted House! Enter contests and showcases! Join us in the media center on the following Wednesday afternoons from 3:45-4:45: November 6th November 13th November 20th December 5th December 12th December 19th January 9th January 16th Cost for 2nd 9 weeks: $40 (This includes $4.50 per meeting plus a $4 supply fee.)     "G. Neri is the Michael L. Printz and Coretta Scott King award-winning author of such books as Yummy: the Last Days of a Southside Shorty and Ghetto Cowboy, which was made into the movie, Concrete Cowboy, starring Idris Elba. His books have been translated into multiple languages in over 25 countries. They include My Antarctica, Safe Passage, The Collectors, Tru & Nelle, Grand Theft Horse, Christo and Jeanne-Claude Wrap the World, Hello, I'm Johnny Cash, and Chess Rumble. In 2017, he was awarded the first of two National Science Foundation grants that sent him to Antarctica; he is currently co-chair of the Antarctic Artists and Writers Collective. In 2023, he was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from SUNY for his literary and Antarctic outreach. He writes full-time while living on the Gulf Coast of Florida with his wife and daughter.     Post Disaster Community Resources

    Hillsborough County Public Schools is here to support families as they connect with the attached disaster relief resources. Families who have experienced a loss of housing should connect with our School Social Worker, Mr. Domokos (john.domokos@hcps.net) to assess specific needs and additional available resources.

    Arrival and Dismissal

    Parents, we want to say thank you for your patience and quick acclimation to the car-rider line.  This allows for the safety of everyone to be maintained.  Reminders: -Pull all the way up as far as you are able to decrease traffic on 47th St. -Turn RIGHT on to Ellicott St. when exiting the parking lot. -Don't pick up or drop off in the faculty parking lot unless your child is ESE. -Don't drop off before 8:00, due to lack supervision. (HOST is available at 6:45 am.) -5 MPH should be your maximum speed for everyone's safety. Note: In order to expedite the pick-up process, students will be seated and looking for your vehicle in this order: Year 1 (in front of gate B) ---> Year 2 ---> Year 3 ---> Carpools of 4 or more (in front of the MPR).
