  • Uniforms

All students are required to wear a uniform shirt to school every day. The uniform consists of a Dover t-shirt and pants or short bottoms of your choice. Dover will be selling uniform t-shirts for $5 inside the office beginning on August 3. Uniform t-shirt order forms are also included in the first day packet. Parents can choose to complete the form, include the payment, and send the form to school with their child.

  • First Day Packets

Parents can pick up your child's first day packet at Meet the Teacher on August 5, or your child will recieve their packet of information on the first day of school, August 10. We ask that you read through it carefully, then complete and return all necessary forms. These papers are due back to your child's teacher by Wednesday August 11, 2021.

The Hillsborough County Public Schools Parent Student Handbook is now online. It is important that you are familiar with district policies within this book, including policies and procedures for medications, dress code, etc.

  • Dover School Rules

    Be Respectful
    Be Responsible
    Be a Role Model

Students are expected to follow school and classroom rules at all times. Students who repeatedly break rules will be counseled by their teacher, guidance counselor, and/or administrator. Parents will be contacted and kept informed.

  • Attendance

It is important for your child to be at school every day unless sick. Please plan family vacations during times when school is out of session. When your child is absent, please call the school attendance line each day of the absence to report your child's reason for not being in school (813-757-9457, ext. 1).

A doctor's note is required for students who miss over five days.

Students who have no absences within the nine week grading period will be recognized at the end of the nine week awards ceremony for perfect attendance.

Students acquiring over five absences or tardy arrivals without a doctor's note within a nine week period will not be eligble to earn citizenship.
