In compliance with Section 18004(e) of the CARES Act ALTC has received an allocation under 18004(a)
- Acknowledgment of Certification and Agreement
An acknowledgement that the institution signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used, or intends to use, 100% of the funds or no less than 50% received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
- ALTC signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement on 4/23/2020 for $22,655 (50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act) to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students. On September 01, 2020, ALTC distributed $$22,655 (50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act) to the eligible student body.

- On 7/22/2020 ALTC received an additional $22,655 to be used to reimburse programs for distance learning costs and other expenses associated with COVID 19
- ALTC has been notified they will be receiving an additional $22,655 which was applied for 5/11/2020.
- Total Amount of Funds Distributed to Students to Date
The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of submission (i.e., as of the 30-day Report and every 45 days thereafter).
- To date (1/27/2022), ALTC has distributed $22,654.63 to the eligible student body.

Based on regulatory guidance by the Department of Education, a total of 49 students were eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants.
- The total Number of Students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a) (1) of the CARES Act.
As of January 27, 2022. 49 students have been provided emergency financial aid grant funds.
- The Methods used by the Institution to Determine which students Receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they would receive under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
The Financial Aid Office will use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to determine eligibility.
- Must be enrolled in the semester for which the student is requesting aid.
- Must be eligible to receive Title IV aid: See Title IV Eligibility Criteria for Federal Student Aid.
- Enrollment was impacted by COVID/19 and have expenses incurred for housing, food course materials, technology, healthcare, or childcare.
- Student has completed the FAFSA for 2019-2020.
- Student is meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
- Student has been awarded aid for any term in 2019-2020.
- Students were impacted due to site closures required by COVID/19 restrictions.
ALTC determined the total amount of students eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants.
- The total amount was then disbursed among 49 students being distributed $633.82 to each eligible full-time student.
- Any Instructions, Directions, of Guidance Provided by the Institution to Students Concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants.
Multiple communications were sent to these eligible students via their email address on record, which includes information about funding. Students will be contacted via email of record in regard to the distribution of the Higher Education Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus (including eligible expenses under a student’s cost of attendance such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child care).
