The purpose of this National Junior Honor Society chapter shall be to promote and adhere to the BPA Vision, Creed, and Scholarly Attributes, with a focus on: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship in students of Boys Preparatory Academy at Franklin Middle Magnet School.

Membership in this chapter is an honor bestowed upon deserving students by the faculty and shall be based on the criteria and adherence to the BPA Vision, Creed, and Scholarly Attributes, Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship. 

Eligibility:
a.) To be eligible for membership the candidate must be in the second semester of sixth grade, or members of the seventh or eighth grade class at Boys Preparatory Academy at Franklin Middle Magnet School.

b.) To be eligible for selection to membership in this chapter, the candidate must have been enrolled for a period equivalent to one semester at Boys Preparatory Academy at Franklin Middle Magnet School.

c.) Candidates must have a minimum cumulative unweighted G.P.A of a 3.75 on a 4.0 scale and no more than one B in conduct, from the previous two quarters, to apply for membership.

d.) Upon meeting the grade level, enrollment, and GPA standards, candidates shall then be considered based on adherence to the BPA Vision, Creed, and Scholarly Attributes, Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship.
