• Welcome to Liberty Middle School!

    Since Liberty Middle School opened its doors in 2002, we have been rooted in our core beliefs of P.R.I.D.E. (Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dependability, and Encouragement).  These are the core values that we instill in our students and have added the five Cambridge Attributes (Confidence, Engagement, Reflection, Responsibility, and Innovation) to continue to help our students stand out among others. It is what defines us and continues to guide us as a school. It is an honor to serve the New Tampa and Lutz communities. It is a pleasure watching our students learn, grow, and achieve year after year. Liberty is focused on the future and is the premier middle school in the New Tampa area for years to come.     Our state-recognized "5 Star School” serves the New Tampa and Lutz communities and beyond.  The New Tampa Digital Academy provides students a variety of technoogy and digital courses not found at neighboring traditional and charter schools! Courses such as Video Game and Simulation Design are designed to prepare students for a career in the tech and digital workforce as they select an area of concentration that interests them the most.

    Other offering that make Liberty stand out among others include a variety of academic clubs (FBLA, NHS, SHA), four seasons of sports and Electives in Visual Arts, and our award-winning Music programs. We offer a wide variety of Scholar Quest courses, preparing students to excel in high school and even earn Business Industry Certifications. Our STEAM program adds "Arts” to S.T.E.M., producing District Champion S.T.E.M. projects, while AVID college readiness paves a path to student success! Our newest addition, the Cambridge Lower Secondary Program, adds another layer of having our students be active thinkers and engaged in their learning.
