PV Music Department 

We offer comprehensive music instruction in the following areas:

• Chorus
• Orchestra
• Band/ Percussion
• Piano
• Guitar
• Harp

Where do we perform?  

Music students perform throughout the year at venues and events such as Walt Disney World, ACDA, All State Ensembles, the HCPS School Board, Christmas Lane, and local festivals. Students also participate in the county MPA (Music Performance Assessments).

In 2019 & 2023 the PV Chorus performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Students spent about a week in NYC, soaking up music, culture, and history.  

How do students participate? 

All students have access to music education in 6th/7th/8th grade. We offer the Arts Wheel and full year class options for select music classes in 6th grade. Students can audition for placement into advanced music classes in 7th & 8th grade. Students interested in the Harp program are placed into the class at the teacher's discretion.
