Class of 2024, Valedictorian, Salutatorian and Rank Freeze

At the end of the first semester of the senior year, the final rank in class shall be determined for each senior student.  The cumulative, weighted district GPA is used to determine rank in class.  An official Final Grade Report for HVS, FLVS or Dual Enrollment transcripts must be dated, with a completion date, no later than January 12, 2024 in order to be included in the cumulative weighted GPA for final class rank calculation.  Students double check your Student Summary to ensure you have all your credits in before January 17th.  You can request a Student Summary in School Counseling.

Class rank will freeze on February 16, 2024.

    Please note:

Students enrolled in magnet programs are ranked separately from students in the traditional program in the same school.

    • Students enrolled in the magnet programs, who leave their program after the first day of the second semester of their sophomore year, are ranked with their prior magnet program.
    • Students entering a magnet program for the first time as a junior and return to a traditional program prior to earning first semester credits will be ranked with the traditional program.

Juniors that have applied to be an early graduate will not be ranked with the current senior class.
