Hello, I am Danielle Carfore and I have been teaching Exceptional Student Education at Lavoy for 11 years.
Prior to this, I had 6 years of experience working with children and adults with Autism in various settings. While at Lavoy, I have taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
I am currently teaching in our 12+ program..
I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I also attended and graduated from the Hillsborough Community College Educator Preparation Institute, where I obtained my teaching certificate.
My areas of certification include Prekindergarten/Primary Education, Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement and Reading Endorsement.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, reading, and watching the latest Netflix series.
