Our state-recognized "5 Star School” serves the New Tampa and Lutz communities and beyond, with many students selecting Liberty as a "school choice” option. The New Tampa Digital Academy is our newest choice offering—providing students a variety of tech and digital courses not found at neighboring traditional and charter schools! Courses such as Video Game and Simulation Design are designed to prepare students for a career in the tech and digital workforce as they select an area of concentration that interest them the most.

Other choices include more than 30 clubs, 4 seasons of sports and Electives in Visual Arts and our award-winning Music programs. We offer a wide variety of Scholar Quest courses, preparing students to excel in high school and even earn Microsoft Industry Certifications. Our STEAM program adds "Arts” to STEM, producing District Champion STEM projects, while AVID college readiness paves a path to student success! New students feel at home in their new learning environment thanks to our Sixth Grade Structure. To apply to New Tampa Digital Academy at Liberty Middle, families must fill out a School Choice Application. Be sure to select "Liberty Middle" as your Choice option. Applicants will be selected by random drawing based on available space in this new program.

Since Liberty Middle School opened its doors in 2002, we have been rooted in our core beliefs of PRIDE. Perseverance, Respect, Integrety, Dependability, and Encouragement are the core values that we instill in our students. It is what defines us and continues to guide us as a school.
