    WHAT IS DUAL ENROLLMENT?

    Dual enrollment allows your student to earn credit toward a Florida certificate or degree and towards a high school diploma at the same time. Courses completed satisfactorily will allow your student to save time and money with free tuition and textbooks. Please note dual enrollment begins the college transcript and all courses should be taken very seriously. Dual enrollment grades are a factor in college admissions. 

    To qualify for dual enrollment, students must have an unweighted grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher and meet the test score requirements (SAT, ACT, or PERT). To learn more about dual enrollment, please visit HCC's dual enrollment website:

    Dual Enrollment Students taking courses on HCC Campuses:
    Please note: Students will be in a learning environment that explores a diverse and open range of ideas that requires a mature understanding of multiple perspectives. Students must be able to engage in discussion in a mature and responsible manner. Students will be attending classes with non-high school aged students and many encounter students of various ages and backgrounds while on an HCC campus.

    You must have all forms to submit:

    Public school: Authorizaon Form B and your last report card or Summary Worksheet.
    o
    Private school: Authorizaon leer and your current high school transcript.
    o
    Charter school: Authorizaon form and your last report card or Summary Worksheet.
    o
    Home Educaon: Home School Approval Form.
    Once you have uploaded your forms, you must click “Submit”
    You will receive an email to your Hawkmail indicang your forms have been received by theDual Enrollment Oce.
    Once your paperwork is approved, you will receive a second email to your Hawkmail withregistraon instrucons.We are currently accepng paperwork for summer term. The summer schedule will be live on the HCCwebsite about a week prior to registraon beginning.Registraon dates:
     
    Current students w/ 30+ credit hours can begin registraon on March 23, 2021.
    Current students w/ 1-29 credit hours can begin registraon on March 29, 2021.
    Registraon Deadline is April 30, 2021 for courses beginning May 17
