    With this honor, Macfarlane Park is recognized as meeting the rigorous Magnet School Standards of Excellence. These standards define the essential elements and characteristics of high-quality magnet programs. 

    The IB PYP Programme also designated Macfarlane Park demonstration school in the 2021-22 school year. This approves Macfarlane to accept new IB candidates and schools to visit and observe Macfarlane as among the top IB PYP programmes in the country and a model for other IB schools.
