Hillsborough County Public Schools Title I Parent and Family Engagement Plan.

The School Board believes that engaging parents in the education process is essential to improved academic success for students. It further recognizes that a student’s education is a responsibility shared by the school and the family throughout the student’s career in the district. Therefore, the School Board shall foster and support active parent involvement so that schools and parents work together as partners in educating children as reflected in the Family and School Partnership for Student Achievement Act and the requirements for parental involvement included within section 1118 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.
