Horrace Mann Middle School, more affectionately known as "Mann", was the first junior high school built in Brandon, Florida. Mann eventually became a traditional middle school at the beginning of the 1996-1997 school year. Located in the middle of a residential neighborhood, the school is adorned with beautiful oak trees. Our school mascot is the "Raider" and our colors are orange and blue. Mann Middle School is the best kept secret in Brandon. Our school is raising responsible and resourceful Raiders, thanks to its caring and experienced staff who ensure that our students will have the capacity and mindset to serve as leaders in society. Students are exposed to a rigorous curriculum that stimulates growth which promotes diversity and inclusivity through our positively robust school culture.
