Pierce Middle serves students in the Town and Country community. Our Advanced Robotics program uses STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to help students excel. Scholar Quest offers accelerated classes—including Pre-AP Algebra and unique advanced courses for native Spanish speakers. Dual Language Social Studies courses allow students to enhance their Spanish skills. Through Electives, our students sample a range of courses—engaging in Culinary, Visual Arts, Band and AVID college readiness—then pursue what best sparks their interests. Classmates receive valuable leadership skills in sports teams and clubs as Latinos in Action and Club de Baile. Students serve the community by teaching English to their families and by maintaining a food pantry and clothes closet. Our community connects with students through mentorship programs with the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay and Tampa Bay Lightning’s "Guide the Thunder.” Our Sixth Grade Structure helps students feel at home in their new learning environment. At Pierce, our students are the hub of our community and develop core values like Respect, Responsibility and Pride.
