Congratulations to our April Teacher of the Month, Coach Ramsey! Coach Ramsey always goes above and beyond for his students and school. Coach Ramsey consistently supports the administration with supervision and safety and works very hard to instill this same safety mindset in his Driver Education students in his classes. We appreciate Coach Ramsey very much. Also, congratulations to our April Student of the Month, Malik Pierre. Malik is an 11th grader who demonstrates what it means to be a Longhorn. We are so proud of Malik and the example he set for his peers.

This Tuesday evening, April 22, we will celebrate our seniors during our Longhorn Legends Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to all our seniors who will be awarded scholarships, academic awards, among many other accolades. The Class of 2025 has been outstanding, and we could not be more excited to celebrate their tremendous accomplishments!

This Wednesday, April 23, we will be celebrating our students who have earned an Industry Certification in any of their Career and Technical Education courses. These students have worked extremely hard to earn their certificates, and we know they have very bright futures ahead of them in whichever career they choose. Congratulations, students! 

Students, if you are attending the prom this week, do not forget your tickets and ID. Also, congratulations to all our cadets who will be attending the JROTC Ball this weekend. We are very excited for these two very special events!

Congratulations again to our Track and Flag Football teams for their District Championships! We are extremely excited for Regionals and the success you will accomplish then!
