Principal's weekly message.

Our PTSA is planning a Trunk or Treat on Lennard High School's campus for our community.  Please join our PTSA Zoom call on Tuesday, Sept 21, at 5pm, to help plan this awesome event (https://us04web.zoom.us/j/76050275577).  Also, please take a minute to join the Lennard PTSA Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100070587737521 and fill out this form to let us know how you can help: https://bit.ly/3hF29zQ.  We hope you will all get involved!

Our Homecoming Dance is October 2.  I have attached an important flyer to this email, so you will have all the information you need to know for this very exciting event.  Remember, any student who is not in good standing with the Student Affairs Office will not be able to attend the Homecoming Dance.

The district is now providing meals for students in Isolation or Quarantine.  Parents can reserve meals for students in isolation or quarantine by calling 813.605.5156 or go to this website http://bit.ly/reservemeals before 5 p.m. to reserve meals for the next day.  Meals can be picked up the next business day from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Pickup is at Silo Bend, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, FL 33619. Certification of quarantine or isolation will be done using Ed Connect. Meals are not available for any children that are not in quarantine or isolation.

Attention girls!  On October 1, you can participate in this year’s Girls Summit.  I have attached the flyer to my email with all the details.  It looks like it will be a great event!  All of you are welcome to attend!

Attention Class of 2022!  The time has come for you to order your cap and gown and other graduation items!  This is your year, seniors!  I have attached a flyer from Balfour, so you have the information you need to order your cap and gown and other senior items online.  Please let us know if you have any questions.  We are always here to help you!

I want to remind everyone that no student is to remain on campus after the dismissal bell unless the student is being supervised by a teacher, coach, or club sponsor.  At no time are students permitted to stay on campus after school if they are not being supervised.

I hope you have a great week!

Go Longhorns!
