Principal's Weekly Message
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and fall break. We are excited to welcome our Longhorns back to campus tomorrow, Monday, December 2, for a regular bell schedule with dismissal at 3:40 PM.
Thank you to our PTSA who provided Thanksgiving pies and pens to our faculty and staff. We greatly appreciate all you do for our school. If you have not joined our PTSA yet, it is a great way to get involved and help make decisions for our school.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Conference Night for Quarter 2. We also want to recognize that we had over 400 people in attendance for our Collegiate Academy informational meeting. Thank you to our Collegiate Academy student ambassadors who represented Lennard High School for our potential magnet students and their families. They always make us so proud both in and out of the classroom.
This week, on Thursday, December 5, we will induct our newest members of our National Honor Society at 6:00 PM, in the auditorium. We are extremely proud of these students and the exceptional work they do both on and off campus. Congratulations to all our students being inducted into this very prestigious organization!
Our car line in the front of the school continues to be a problem with cars parking backwards on the right side of the car line facing the exit. This is a very dangerous situation which is putting our students in danger of being hit by a car. For everyone's safety, including your own, do not park on the right side of the car line facing the exit. Thank you for your cooperation.
I hope you have a great week!
Go Longhorns!
