A Hillsborough County Public School
WWcB’s SEEDFOLKids After School Garden Experience is a year-long free community- based after school leadership program where both literal and figurative sustainable "school gardens" are created by the students to transform the school culture.
Through an assortment of interrelated STEM-centered garden activities, we work through our community partnerships to help young students, their parents, and school staff “make the shift” towards sustainable living principals. In so doing, participants gain a new more community-focused, entrepreneurial perspective as leaders and as "force multipliers," prepared to transform not only their schools and neighborhoods, but their own lives as well.
The program is for 3rd through 5th grade students. Currently the program is full.
