Community School Resources:
Gibsonton Elementary is proud of the many resources we have available at our school.
Food Pantry:
Meats, vegetables, fruit, herbs, bread, grains, along with shelf-stable items, and a variety of other items are available to our Bulldog families every week at our school Food Pantry .
Our school Food Pantry is open every week on Thursdays from 2pm-4pm. The pantry is located in room 226. Please walk or drive to the back parking lot of the school. Immediately across from the clinic (portable building) is the pantry. Our Food Pantry is made possible by our partners Mosaic, and Kiwanis of Greater Brandon.
Smile Club:
Smile Club, a weekend food program, provides students whose family is unable to participate in the Food Pantry with much needed non-perishable food items. Smile Club bags are provided weekly for students enrolled in the program to take home for their family, typically via bus.
Clothing Closet:
Through donations, Gibsonton is able to help students and siblings with much needed school-aged clothing. If your family is faced with the challenge of supplying clothing items, please reach out to our Community School Coordinator, or School Nurse. When possible, socks, undergarments, shoes, and other articles will be provided.
Hygiene Help:
If your family is faced with the challenge of supplying hygiene items, please reach out to our Community School Coordinator, or School Nurse. Our Bulldog staff want to ensure students are healthy and ready to learn, each and every day.
School Supplies:
The education of each and every Bulldog is important to our staff and community. Through local donations, Gibsonton is able to help students with much needed school supplies when possible. If your family is faced with the challenge of supplying learning tools and resources, please reach out to our Community School Coordinator, your child's classroom teacher, or our Social Worker.
