• CUB PRIDE

Corr Elementary is a hidden gem, tucked away in the Kings Lake neighborhood off of Big Bend Road in Gibsonton. Through our mission, we instill Cub PRIDE every day…Positive Respectful Individuals Demonstrating Excellence! We offer our students a variety of opportunities to shine in and out of the classroom with programs such as Girls on the Run, NEHS (National Elementary Honor Society), and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). Our school also offers our students the opportunity to perform in annual chorus performances and showcase their artwork in art shows.  We welcome and love parent and community involvement. Throughout the year, we schedule many events that allow for family participation and student engagement, such as Family Friday Breakfast, Literacy Night, Math Night at Publix, and PTA dances and festivals! This year we will be starting a house system at Corr, a school wide behavior system in which students are clustered into houses that earn points and rewards resulting in a continued focus on our school family atmosphere and social emotional learning. Each house is built on our focus of Cub PRIDE: House of Perseverance; House of Respect and Responsibility; House of Integrity; House of Determination; and House of Empathy! At Corr, our Cub Pride helps prepare our students for life!
