School History

  • Apollo Beach Elementary opened its doors in 1982. Situated in southern Hillsborough County, ABES is approximately one-quarter mile from Tampa Bay.
    Apollo Beach Elementary is named after the community in which it is located. Our school mascot is the dolphin and our school colors are blue and yellow.
