In the Gorrie media center, we believe in building a love for reading above all else. The media center is a place of discovery and learning. Students can enjoy picking out books that are "just right" for them, participating in book clubs, listening to stories read to them, creating book projects using technology, and much more. It's also a place for teachers and parents to come together to discuss plans for our school and promote community involvement. 

Our library has become the hub and heart of our school thanks to our Foundation and PTA for providing the necessary tools such as furniture and technology. Our (should be world-famous) art teacher, Ms. Barmore, has greatly assisted in creating a warm and inviting environment with our tree pilars, student created artwork, and hand painted murals.
