Student Parking Information

Student parking on the Steinbrenner High School campus is only allowed with a school-issued permit.

Student parking at Steinbrenner is limited and therefore we only sell parking spots to Juniors and Seniors.   


Parking permits will be sold to Seniors on July 21st and 22nd   

Remaining spots are sold to Juniors through a lottery. Juniors must register for the lottery between 7/15 – 7/18. 


While we have heard that some neighboring property owners allow students to park on their property, that practice is in no way associated with our school or the school district. Supervision of students entering and leaving school is provided on school grounds as well as in the designated student parking lot.

 

Safety of students is a priority of our school district and of the staff at Steinbrenner High School. In an effort to keep students safe as they enter and exit our campus each day, we ask that all drivers and pedestrians use caution. Leave home early so the frustration of a busy traffic pattern does not interfere with a positive start to the morning.

 

Senior Parking Hang-Tag
Sale Dates

Monday, July 21st Seniors last names beginning A–L (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM in the Cafeteria)

Tuesday, July 22nd Seniors last names beginning M–Z (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM in the Cafeteria)

Wednesday, July 23rd Senior Make-Up day in the Student Affairs Office (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM)

All hang-tags will be sold in random order.   There is a $20.00 annual purchase fee for a hang-tag.  Please have the following information ready on the day of the sale:

  1. Parent Signed Registration Form
  2. Valid Driver’s License
  3. Current Vehicle Registration
  4. Valid Insurance Card

Registration forms can be printed off from this website or picked up in the Student Affairs Office.


Junior Parking Lottery

There will be a lottery system for Junior parking permits.  The amount of parking spaces available on campus and the size of our student population make this decision necessary.  Not all juniors will receive a parking permit.  All juniors must have a valid driver’s license and submit an application for our random lottery to be eligible.  

The Junior Lottery Registration will be held from
July 15th 8am - July 18th 5pm.

There is NO guarantee and is NOT first come first serve.
A Parent Link will be sent to all students that are chosen - students will be able to PURCHASE their hang tags on July 30th.

Junior hang tag sales will take place in August IF you were notified.
