Social Studies Corner
The Department of Social Studies helps students become well-rounded, socially aware individuals by promoting critical thinking, multiple perspectives, and communication skills. It encourages civic responsibility, positive change, and intellectual curiosity. The curriculum follows Florida's state academic standards for Social Studies and Language Arts Florida Standards, ensuring that students learn age-appropriate content each year across four key strands: History, Civics & Government, Economics, and Geography.
