Your child’s ESE teachers and case manager are the first point of contact.

Teachers have access to see all the ESE students in each class period. They can also see their IEP.
4 . How can I make sure my child is receiving their accommodations?
Teachers will communicate through Progress Reports halfway through each 9-weeks. They may request a conference with you and you may request one as well. There are three scheduled conferences nights throughout the year, halfway through quarters #1-3.
5. How soon can I have a conference?
Students need time to familiarize themselves with their schedule, classes and teachers. They also need time to adapt to the policies and procedures at Davidsen. The first conference night is the best time to schedule a conference. If there is an urgent matter, please contact the ESE teacher or Case Manager.
6. My child is below level in reading -How will he get special attention for reading in other classes?
Davidsen provides a continuum of services to all students with an IEP. That could be from monthly consultation to full-time support in an ESE classroom. Your child’s IEP is driven by their needs and that is communicated to all your child’s teachers.
