Stowers Elementary located at 13915 Barrington Stowers Drive, Lithia, Florida, opened their school doors to 533 Kindergarten through Fifth grade students on August 25, 2009 with Catherine "Missy" Lennard as principal. The school was dedicated on May 2, 2010. The school was named after Dick Stowers, a local civic leader and philanthropist. He has devoted his entire life to giving back to his community. Since opening, Stowers has earned an A rating. Stowers has a new principal at the helm, Ms. Melanie Cochrane, who began leading in 2022.
