School History

  • Lillian Symmes Elementary opened its doors in 2001. It is named after Lillian Symmes who left on her mark on many generations of students as a teacher from 1922-1956. She was born in 1905 into a legacy of teachers. Mrs. Symmes was recognized for her teaching with numerous awards throughout her career.
