Keeping Hands and feet to Ourselves at School:

We are reaching out to ask for your support regarding an important concern we have recently observed at school. We have seen an increase in students not keeping their hands and feet to themselves. While many students say they are "just playing" when hitting one another, this type of horseplay can quickly escalate and lead to genuine conflict or someone getting hurt. At Williams, we are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students. Hitting or physical play that involves contact is not permitted on campus, regardless of intent. We kindly ask that you please speak with your child about the importance of keeping their hands and feet to themselves and making safe choices at school. Your partnership and reinforcement of this expectation at home make a significant difference.
