A HUGE Congratulations to the Rodgers Robotics team, led by teacher Michael Wilson.
Recently, these amazing students placed 2nd in the WORLD at the Robofest World Championship, which was held May 14 - 16 at Lawrence Technological University in Michigan. More than 700 students from 22 countries took part in this event.
Jake Phome (8th grade), Carter Britt (8th grade), and Tan Tran (7th grade) came in 2nd place in the Jr. Bottle Sumo Robot Time Trials - The team from Taiwan narrowly beat them out.
Congratulations to these young engineers and to Rodgers. You have certainly made Hillsborough County proud!
