Join Hillsborough County Public Schools on Monday, April 8th for one or more of our solar eclipse events at the schools listed below.
Rampello K-8 Downtown Magnet Partnership
Location:802 E Washington St, Tampa, FL 33602
Time: 2:00 PM
Representatives from The Tampa Bay Sun are planning to experience Monday’s eclipse with students at Rampello Downtown Partnership School at 802 E. Washington Street in Tampa. Capture students’ reactions at the school on Monday, April 8, between 2:00 and 3:30 p.m. (Plan to arrive by 2:30 to capture the peak of the eclipse.)

Brandon High School – PE Field
Location:1101 Victoria St, Brandon, FL 33510
Time: 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM
Brandon High School is hosting a viewing and photo opportunity with glasses and other solar safe and astro photography equipment to enrich the event after school on Monday from 2:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. on their PE field.

Gaither High School
Location:16200 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618
Time: Classroom at 1:00 PM, PE Field 1:47 PM until 3:00 PM
Students will be creating models of the Sun, Earth and Moon and creating an eclipse in their classroom in 7th period (at 1:00 p.m.). Then in 8th period, they will all go outside to observe the actual eclipse until dismissal at 2:30 p.m. Students who can are invited to stay until 3:00 PM.
