Tampa, Fl. (April 22, 2024) – The Hillsborough County School Board will hold a Special Called School Board Meeting on Monday, April 29, from 1-4 p.m. in the board auditorium located at 901 E. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.
The board meeting will be held to discuss two book challenges, Blankets at Plant High School and Identical at Newsome High School, and the resulting decisions from each school’s Educational Media Materials Committee and the District Level Reconsideration Appeals Committees.
