Tampa, Fl. (June 4, 2024) – Four graduating seniors in Hillsborough County Public Schools were honored for achieving
perfect attendance
during their entire educational career, from kindergarten through 12th grade. Each student attended 2,340 consecutive school days: that’s 180 days for 13 straight years.
To mark this impressive achievement, the four students were guests at Tuesday’s School Board meeting where they were honored by our Partners in Education. They each received a brand-new laptop from PC Connections and a $500 scholarship from Suncoast Credit Union. The students with perfect attendance are:

“I am so proud of these students and applaud them for the discipline they have shown by coming to school every single day. Attending school every day shows a commitment to excellence that translates to the workforce and to leading a responsible adult life. I congratulate all the family members for providing a support system where these students could thrive and I thank our community partners for honoring them with these gifts,” said Superintendent Van Ayres.
Additional information:
On an impressive note about two of tonight’s honorees; the brother of Ty Jones, Tanner Jones, also had K-12 perfect attendance when he graduated from Sickles High School back in 2022. A remarkable milestone for the Jones’ family.
Also, Nathan Bramlett has a family tie. His sister, Libby Bramlett, had perfect attendance in K-12 when she graduated from Plant City High School in 2010. Nathan's brother, Luke Bramlett, was also celebrated for having perfect attendance in K-12 when he graduated in 2014 from Durant High School.
