Tampa, Fla. – (April 10, 2023) – Hillsborough County Public Schools first-ever Spring Magnet & CTE Expo will take place this Thursday, April 13, at Tampa Bay Technical High School, located at 6410 Orient Rd., Tampa, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
All magnet schools with seats available on the current application will be in attendance, along with several Career and Technical Education (CTE) Choice Attractor Programs. The event will give students and families the opportunity to choose a program for the upcoming 2023-24 school year.
Students will be able to explore more than 30 magnet school offerings and 80+ programs. This is the final Magnet/Choice event before the start of the 2023-2024 school year.

Free to attend.
Options are available for all K-12 students.
Future high school students can learn about the new Building Construction Academy and Medical Academy to prepare for a career in two of the fastest growing industries, as well as cyber-security and gaming programs available in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
Free giveaways for attendees and Kona Ice.
The afterschool HOST program with have information for families on-site during the Expo.
Teacher and Staff Recruitment professionals with be on hand to discuss careers available with Hillsborough County Public Schools.
The window to apply for the Magnet and Choice Window ends Sunday, April 30, at 11:59 p.m.
