Tampa, Fl. (August 21, 2023) – Hillsborough County Public Schools in partnership with the Latino Coalition of Tampa Bay will host a Human Trafficking “SOS” – Student Online Safety panel on Wednesday, August 23, from 2-3:30 p.m.
Under the leadership of School Board Member Lynn Gray and Interim Superintendent Van Ayres, the HCPS Human Trafficking Committee will present the “SOS” – Student Online Safety panel to leaders with the Latino Coalition of Tampa Bay. The panel of experts will provide their insight into the dangers of Human Trafficking and how parents can keep their children safe online. Interim Superintendent Van Ayres will share the district’s commitment to Coalition leaders, the Latino community, parents, and students.
The meeting will be held at the HCPS Adult and Career Services Center, 5410 N. 20th Street, Tampa, FL 33610.
