Tampa, Fl. (July 30, 2024) – As part of an ongoing effort to enhance student safety this new school year, Hillsborough County Public Schools has partnered with BusPatrol to modernize its entire fleet of school buses with safety technology to curb illegal motorist behavior around school buses.
The new bus safety program will be preceded by a 30-day warning period and education campaign to remind motorists to stop for school buses. The 30-day warning period will start August 12, the first day of school, before the program go-live on September 12.
