Tampa, Fl. (February 17, 2023) – The Junior Achievement organization has recognized Superintendent Addison Davis with the National Bronze Leadership Award. This honor was presented at the JA Board of Director’s Meeting today. The prestigious accolade recognizes leaders who support and expand JA’s mission to provide students with experiences needed to be workforce ready upon graduation.

The JA Worldwide Bronze Leadership Award represents the top half percentile of JA volunteers. This award highlights Superintendent Davis’ ongoing commitment to the learning experiences of students in the variety of programs JA offers.

“Our students are one of the richest talent pipelines in the Tampa Bay Region. By connecting them with real-world experiences and preparing them for in-demand careers, we are making an impact not only on their lives, but the entire community. I deeply appreciate Junior Achievement for the continued dedication to our learners and look forward to expanding our incredible partnership,” said Superintendent Addison Davis.

“Superintendent Davis has been a champion for workforce development initiatives benefiting students since day one. He deserves this distinction and Hillsborough County Public Schools will continue to provide innovative experiences to cultivate our talent pipeline with the help of Junior Achievement,” said Board Chair Nadia Combs.
