ImagineCare stocks and furbishes essential comfort room for special needs children and indoor recreational reward space for all students.

Date: Friday, February 2

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Location: Lopez Elementary School, 200 North Kingsway Road, Seffner, FL

Hillsborough County Public Schools invite you to Lopez Elementary School’s Mid-Schoolyear ‘Halftime Show’ that readies students for spring semester with critical supplies.

A dynamic all-school event at Lopez Elementary School celebrates the unveiling of two innovative school spaces that provide much needed respite and enjoyment for students.  Stocked with relaxation areas, educational game activities, LED tables, fidget items and more, the ESE Center Sensory Room will serve as a space of comfort and quiet time for special needs students.  Serving as a space of motivation, recreation and celebration, the Lopez Elementary School Gameroom will foster better behavioral skills as students enjoy the space on a rewards-based system.

Mid-way through the school year, school supplies diminish and urgently need replenishment to secure students’ academic success. ImagineCare will provide more than 500 students backpacks and supplies and contribute to the school’s Teachers’ Fund at Lopez Elementary.

Recognizing the significant impact of education and literacy on health outcomes, ImagineCare, a joint venture between Spark Pediatrics and CareSource, provided and installed the materials, activities and furnishings of both rooms. Lopez Elementary School is eager to celebrate the impact of this generous community donation during this all-school event featuring the school’s drill and cheer teams.
