We're excited to kick off Literacy Week with our Vocabulary Parade on Monday, January 26.
All students in PreK-5th grade will participate during the regular school day. Please note: this is a closed campus event; we encourage you to take photos at home before students come to school.
What is the Vocabulary Parade? Students choose a word, create a simple costume to represent it, and proudly show their vocabulary knowledge as we celebrate reading and language. Use the attached pictures for more detailed information. A paper copy will be coming home as well tomorrow or Tuesday, Jan. 20th.
Remember there is no school on Monday, Jan. 19th due to MLK Jr. Day.
