Monday – Hispanic Flag Day: Students are encouraged to dress in the colors of a Hispanic flag.
Tuesday – Hispanic Role Model Day: Dress as a favorite Hispanic role model.
Wednesday – Hispanics in Sports: Wear a jersey representing a Hispanic team or athlete.
Thursday – Hispanics in Music: Dress as a favorite Hispanic musician.
Friday – The Future is Bright!: Wear neon colors to symbolize the bright future of Hispanics and the celebration

Friday, November 7th @ 6:30 p.m. in the Gym, the Thundering Heard Band will be paying tribute to the Veterans of our community. This form is for all students, teachers, and staff to submit photos of Veterans you may know. or if you yourself are a VET. ANYONE in your family who has served can be recognized! Grandparents, Parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, etc.....
At the end of the concert there will be a slide show playing giving these men and women recognition. Please take part in helping us thank our Veteran's by submitting photos and attending the performance. All submissions must be complete by October 31!

It's time to leave your own mark with a bookmark for our Hillsborough Reads Bookmark Contest! 🎨📖
We are inviting HCPS educators and students in all grades to design a colorful 2.5" x 7" bookmark that captures the theme "Get Caught Reading" for a chance to have their artwork professionally printed and shared across our schools.
Students can ask their school's media specialist for a copy of the bookmark contest guidelines and must submit their entries to their school's art teacher by EOD on Friday, Oct. 31. Winners will be announced in December!

Hillsborough Reads Bookmark Contest 2025
Celebrate the joy of reading by designing a bookmark that captures the theme “Get Caught Reading!” Winning designs will be professionally printed and shared across the district!
Who Can Enter: Students PK–12 and HCPS educators Deadline: Friday, October 31 (submit to your school’s art teacher)
Prizes: Art supplies, a home library book pack, and 50 printed bookmarks featuring your design!
Design Guidelines: · Use crayons, markers, colored pencils, or paints ·
Artwork must be original and in color · Bookmark size: 2½" x 7" ·
