It's time to leave your own mark with a bookmark for our Hillsborough Reads Bookmark Contest! 🎨📖
We are inviting HCPS educators and students in all grades to design a colorful 2.5" x 7" bookmark that captures the theme "Get Caught Reading" for a chance to have their artwork professionally printed and shared across our schools.
Students can ask their school's media specialist for a copy of the bookmark contest guidelines and must submit their entries to their school's art teacher by EOD on Friday, Oct. 31. Winners will be announced in December!

The HCPS RAISE High School Tutoring Program is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year! This initiative is designed to train, equip, and support juniors and seniors as they tutor kindergarten through 3rd-grade students in early literacy skills.
Participants will earn volunteer service hours and may qualify for the New Worlds Scholar award from the Florida Department of Education.

To help you get started on thinking about what you would like to do after high school, we will be hosting a district College & Career Fair on September 25. Approximately 100 colleges and universities, military recruiters, and trade programs will be attending. Representatives will be available to provide general information as well as admission statistics and criteria.
Remember, a college and career fair is an event composed of representatives who are looking for high school students for their institutions. They’re here to promote their college to YOU and want to talk to you about your goals, academic record, standardized test scores, and your extra-curricular activities.
The 2026-2027 School Choice & Magnet Application opens on Monday, October 20, at 5 p.m. ✨HCPS gives families the power to find the best fit for their student, allowing them to explore, grow, and shine.
