Braulio Alonso High School opened in the fall of 2001. Today our enrollment is 2,896 students and we are a CEP school with all students receiving free breakfast and lunch. During the 2020-2021 school year, Alonso High School became the fifth high school in Hillsborough County to have an International Baccalaureate Program. The first class of Alonso IB students graduated in 2024. Braulio Alonso High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and earned an “A” rating for the 2024-2025 school year by the Florida Department of Education.
