From Mr. Basham, Rodgers MMS Principal -
Drop Off & Pick Up - Car Riders are to be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon inside the fence at the sidewalk that runs along our Main Office and next to the Cafeteria. Drop Offs should be no earlier than 8:45 AM unless they are in the morning HOST program.
For safety, students will not be allowed to exit in the Agriculture area, and must be picked up at the Main Office/Cafeteria area.
Dress Code - Students may not wear hats, beanies, hoodies or headwear of any kind inside the school building unless they have a medical reason, or for religious purposes. At Rodgers we have communicated this policy with the students in our Grade Level Meetings. If you need an accommodation - please contact your assistant principal to make arrangements.
Students may not wear clothing that might cause a disruption to learning environment at Rodgers while they are on campus or the school bus. This includes clothing with vulgar language, pictures of weapons, or inappropriate pictures. This also includes paisley bandanas or other items that might associated with gangs or other potentially divisive groups.
If you would like more information about the School Board Policy regarding the Dress Code or the protections designed to maintain a positive learning environment you can go to our website at mysdhc.org/rodgers and connect with our Student Handbook or go to the District website to find information in the Code of Conduct.
Covid-19 Protocols can be found in our online Student Handbook and should be reviewed.
Masks are required while on campus, particularly indoors and while students are passing between classes. Masks should cover the nose and mouth, and fit snugly.
Maintaining the appropriate physical distance is particularly important.
Remember to wash hands frequently and use hand sanitizer often.
