♦ What time is dismissal?

Monday: KG 12:45pm  1st - 5th 12:55pm

Tues-Fri: KG 1:45pm    1st - 5th  1:55pm

♦ What is the deadline to sign my child out?

Monday: 12pm     Tues-Fri: 1pm

♦ What if my child forgets their lunchbox, homework, backpack, etc..?

You can drop it off at the front office. There is a table outside of the front office door. You will want to write your child's name, teacher and time. Staff will make sure to get the items to your child.

♦ Can I drop off birthday cupcakes, donuts, brownies, cookies, etc?

Yes however teachers will need to be aware the day you are bringing them in and asked if there are any allergies in the classroom. Cupcakes need to be store bought.

♦ What is my child's lunch time?

Lunchtime depends on the grade and teacher, so please ask your teacher their lunchtime. Lunch is 30 minutes and some have recess right after. We ask if you are signing your child out that you do so 10 minutes prior to their lunch or after their lunch. It is difficult to get a student during their lunch and could take a while to get them from lunch. 

♦ Where is the Lost and Found?

Lost and found is in the cafeteria. Please write your child's first initial and full last name on their jacket, lunchbox, water bottle, etc. We had over 100 items unclaimed in the first half of the school year.

♦ How do parents volunteer in classrooms or for school events?

Go to www.hillsboroughschool.org then departments then volunteer services and follow the steps. Once the application is submitted it can take 2 to 4 weeks for approval.
