GET YOUR GED - REGISTRATION Open for 2022-23 School Year classes - Open Enrollment

Classes are in session!

The Adult Basic Education program is for students who need a high school diploma or need to increase their academic skills in order to be successful in their CTE program. The Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) is used to determine language performance levels and CASAS Goals is used to determine Math and Reading performance levels to place students into our programs appropriately.

ABE classes help adult students improve basic skills in math, reading, and language arts. GED courses are designed to prepare students to successfully complete the four GED subject area tests leading to a State of Florida High School Diploma or remediate to desired academic levels. Courses include Language Arts Writing, Language Arts Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Students progress at their own pace, learn basic skills, and prepare for entry into the GED program or vocational/technical training opportunities.

Our ABE/GED programs are conveniently designed to provide instruction through face-to-face classes. Courses are available mornings and evenings. If you are interested in attending classes, please contact Student Services or click on part-time classes.
