Reddick meets author in Virtual Event

The 5th graders had a virtual author visit from Pablo Cartaya Tuesday February 9th. The children were entertained by Pablo through stories he shared with them from how he became an author in the 6th grade in Cuba, to becoming an actor and being asked to change his name and why he decided to change it back.

He has written and published 3 books, “The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora”, “Marcus Vega Doesn’t Speak Spanish”, and “Each Tiny Spark”.

The Hillsborough Arts in Education Foundation provided this author experience and gave 50 copies of “Each Tiny Spark” that were given away to 50 lucky 5th grade students.
