Principal's Weekly Message

This past week, we had our senior breakfast and clap out to celebrate the Class of 2025. This senior class is a very special group of students who will be tremendously missed on our campus.  We will see everyone at the Florida State Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 25, at 8:00 AM for our graduation start time. Graduates need to arrive by 7:00 AM.  Please make sure you read the handout your child received at the senior meeting with all pertinent information you need to know for graduation day.  We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Month for May, MSG Bailes!  MSG Bailes goes above and beyond for our administration, all our students, and our school. We appreciate him very much!

Also, congratulations to our Student of the Month, Quincy Rients!  Quincy is an outstanding student who continuously follows the Longhorn 3 and models what Lennard stands for to all his peers!  Congratulations, Quincy! We are always so proud of you.

Congratulations to Cadet Battalion Commander, Jaron McFarquhar for his induction as the 2025 Lennard High School JROTC Wall of Honor recipient. Lt. Col. Dietz shared with us that his hard work, commitment and achievements have rightfully earned him a place on the Wall of Honor. Upon graduation, Jaron will be headed to Army Basic Training at Ft Moore, GA, home to the Infantry. Thank you for your service, Jaron.

Congratulations to Coach Carter and his yearbook students who worked very hard to produce a beautiful yearbook for our students this year.  I know all our students and teachers love the book and appreciate all they did throughout the year to make this happen.

Any senior who needs to take semester exams should report to the main office to sign in and then to the auditorium by 8:45 AM tomorrow morning, Monday, May 19.  Seniors, remember that if you were not exempt from any of your exams, you must take these exams, or you will not earn the credit for the course and will not be able to walk at graduation because you do not have the required credits. Only seniors who have to take a final exam are allowed on campus.

Semester 2 Final Exams begin this Friday, May 23.  Please see the Exam Schedule below in this email. We know our students are very prepared for these exams and will do well on all of them.
