Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Ben Hill Middle School!
I’m honored to serve as principal of a school that means so much to me. My journey in education began right here—first as an intern, then math teacher, Subject Area Leader, Assistant Principal, and now, proudly, your principal. Of my 20 years in education, 17 have been spent at Ben Hill. I believe in this school so deeply that my own son attended Ben Hill—because I know firsthand the strength of our community and the quality of education we provide.
Our theme this year is “Bear-lieve & Achieve”—a call to action for every student and staff member to embrace confidence, resilience, and perseverance. Just like bears, we are strong and capable. We believe in our potential, and we work hard to achieve our goals—together.
I’m proud to share that we earned a “B” school grade for the 2024–2025 school year, showing growth and momentum. This year, we’ll keep building on that success as we support one another and celebrate progress.
Let’s make it a great year—and always Bear-lieve & Achieve!
Warmly,
Coddie Webster
Hill's 24-25 Chorus with Ms. G
Two of Hill's orchestra students', that audition and were selected to represent Hill at the All-County Orchestra Concert.
Hill's jazz band members were invited to preform for the school board under the direction of our talented band director, Mr. Dedon.
Gabby was presented with the opportunity to speak with Mr. Ayers at the middle school student forum! This is a way that Mr. Ayers can get feedback from students across the district on a wide variety of topics.
We love when Mr. Ayers has time to stop by Hill. We love when we get the chance to show off all our talented students, dedicated teachers, and our beautiful campus. Hill Middle has hosted the " Area 3 New Teacher" breakfast during pre-planning week for the past few years. We are honored to have been selected to host this event. What better way to welcome new teachers in our area to HCPS.
