African American Read-In
African American Read-In (AARI) will be held "Virtualy" anytime during the month of February (Black History Month). This program is dedicated to diversity in literature. All schools are highly encouraged to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month by hosting a "Virtual" African American Read-In. This is our opportunity to enhance Black History month activity and connect with the community and build support for public education.
The program can take place throughout the entire month or on a particular day determined by the school. For additional information please view our African American Read-In Presentation which outlines the program and provides resource recommendations. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
